New York Neighborhoods

I have followed and read Adam Platt’s articles of New York Magazine religiously for years. So whenever I need a great restaurant and or recommendation to one of New York’s new hotspots I know where to refer to. In a recent inquiry, I came across Adam Platt’s, a respected restaurant critic of New York Magazine, article entitled “Where to Eat in 2009.” The article was composed of featured categories of food such as Cut-Rate Asian, Haute BBQ, Speakeasy Chic, Recession Gourmet, and more. I recently had the privilege of indulging in one of Platt’s most highly thought of restaurants, Dovetail, and had a positive experience. I have dined in many of Platt’s other featured restaurants before such as, Scarpetta, Daniel, Momofuko Ko, among many others and have had continually wonderful experiences. Adam Platt’s articles never fail to intrigue my mind and my senses, never leaving me disappointed. This article, “Where to Eat in 2009″ is no exception to that truth.

Despite having been born and raised in Sarasota, I’ve grown up, a devoted New Yorker. Growing up to two parents that were both natives, it was only natural that one day, I too would share the same affinity for New York. More than jeering baseball fans and savvy Wall Street businesspeople, to me the splendor of New York is its character. During my travels to New York, I have seen and experienced many of New York’s stunning attractions. It is with this blog, that I invite you to explore New York’s cultural arts, entertainment, fashion, food, and Mad Men, for an adventure all your own.
